Ran up on the hill this morning and ran into this bull again. He is right where he can be seen, but guess he is not big enough for any hunter? What do you think? And what would you score him at?
I think he looks pretty good. His fronts are deceiving, they appear to be more straight, therefore probably not much longer then 12". I and my dad have a Dutton Muzzy tags starting on the 26th, if he were there I know one of us would shoot him. It would be hard to pass on him. My guess of a score 325. Thanks for sharing.
I figured he would scare the hell out of 350... Got long beams and good mass that is hard to see in the picture. Got a couple head on and the brows are longer than 12. Either way, I don't think I would pass a 350 unless you knew where a better one was... Just weird where he is so accessible..
OK I stand corrected. He has good length on his main beams and his fronts are longer than they first appeared. So I will guess a gain 326. Kidding, he would scare 350 all day long.
Yup!
A TARDville PISSCUTTER right there!
If it ain't 400" it ain't good enough for 90% of the LE Tag holders!
You think Heather is even gonna raise her Bino's for that?
Nice Bull Rick, just sayin.........you know what I'm sayin!
That bull is really narrow boys, that's easy to see!
15" fronts, 16" royals at best....5ths are only 9 and 7, 3rds maybe 13"?
id only dare say inside width is about 36", beam right at 50. He's definitely got some age on him, you can easily see an old face and thick neck of maturity, but....... Depending on unit, i'd let him live.
For the unit he is on, he is a shooter unless you have seen one bigger. At day 5 of the hunt, if you haven't shot your bull on this unit yet, this bull will fill the bill!!!!
LAST EDITED ON Sep-19-12 AT 12:21PM (MST)[p]I should have a tag soon too! Let him live until I can get my hands on him!
Nice pictures.
I don't think there is any other quality
so essential to success of any kind as the
quality of perseverance. It overcomes
almost everything, even nature.
