Archer numbers

I'm looking for any data on the number of Archers there are in the greater Salt Lake area (Utah, Salt Lake, Davis and Weber counties), including kids, target shooters, competition shooters, hunters, and just for fun shooters. If anyone know of an organization or place that gathers such information and is willing to share, please do so.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Don't think there is anyway to tell exactly.

I know that there are fewer than 100 target archers in our area that don't hunt. I've been doing most of the local target tournaments around here for the last 15 or so years and you can count on only a few of your digits the number of folks who just shoot bows and don't hunt.

I would go with the 15000 archery deer tags in the state add another 5000 that switch back and forth to other weapon types and species with the bow each year then divide by the fact that about 60% of the population of the state lives along the front.

That adds up to about 12,000 people who play with the bow on a yearly basis. My best guess for what ever it's worth.
