Archery question

So I was re reading the archery regs and noticed something pertaining to the arrow. It mentions not electronic, chemical, or explosive devices. Would this include lighted knocks? Seems stupid to exclude something that would make zero difference on killing an animal but would help verify shot placement and recovery. Anyone know?

Per the current regs.
"Legal hunting arrows must have a broadhead attached, be 24 inches in length from the end of the nock to the tip of the broadhead and have a 300 grain minimum weight. An arrow that is used in hunting any game mammal or game bird MAY be equipped with a nock that is illuminated electronically or chemically"
