Who's going this Saturday? I'm really looking forward to it. I'll be there with my bro's company, The Gun Claw. We're supposed to have a table set up. Come by and say hi. By the way, how low do you think the elk tag will go for this year with this economy? It'll break 100K but I'm not sure how much further.

I attended the elk banquet last year and bought a corporate table that sits eight for $1600, but that corporate table is way too much$$$. I attended the sheep banquet here recently and a corporate table was $800 for ten people. I think corporate tables are a little to much for the elk. The sheep tag went for 80k so the elk will probably go close to last year. All I saw was people spending money.

I missed last year and it looks like I'm going to miss this year too. I went the previous two years and had a good time talking to guys I rarely see anymore. I enjoy the banquet and I know the money goes to a good cause but man do I have bad luck at those things. I probably drop $400-$500 at each banquet and all I've won is bino straps in one of those balloon deals.

My bro-in-law won a fold up chair with the AES logo on it and everytime he takes it out he calls it his $300 dollar chair. I get a chuckle out of that.
