If you're coming from N.E.WA., then you'll find alot more elk to play with, but quite abit fewer deer. The only whitetails are the little Columbian Whitetails up the river aways. They're still protected.
Yes, I am a cutter. Got my handle from a hugger shoving a video camera in my face and asking me how I liked being an "environmental criminal", as I was facing up a tree. The boss started calling me "treekiller", and I kind of liked it. LOL
There's plenty of fishing in the Astoria area. Salmon, steelhead, sturgeon, and probably panfish in the Columbia sloughs.
