It's that time of year again. The filthy squatters are leaving their crap unattended in the woods. This week would be a good time to go do some thieving of some "abandoned" trailers in the woods with no one around. Spread the word and tell your friends. Good luck and happy thieving.

Remember one thing shotgun!

Most of them are STICKFLIPPERS!

They're Marking their Territory!:D

And just So somebody (StickFlipper!) doesn't Blow an OverLoad,it'll be the SmokePolers doing it next & then on to the Dreaded Rifle Hunters!

This what you're Talkin Bout?

I think it would be fun in the Forest bought themselves a couple hundred parking boots and went around and put them on all the trailers that had been left more than 14 days. Although, based on the types of trailers and kind of folks leaving them, I bet they would loose a lot of boots!

I was down in the books last weekend scouting. In the 2 top spots there were trailers and no people. The first had been there for 3 weeks, The second for 4! So I just made camp in there camp and burned there wood. I would have used there restroom had they not locked there trailer. This is bull!!!!! I wish every trailer/camp would get impounded and fined. You want to leave your shhhittt for months. BUY A LOT!

...wtf would a boot accomplish other than help the squatters squat??

....sure would makes dragging their sh1t out onto the road more difficult.

The Forest probably can't tow more than 1 or 2 trailers a day, but I bet they could put on dozens of boots in a day. You're right it might not get an immediate result, but if they charged trailer owners $250 plus $250 for every additional 14 days after the boot is placed to get it off I bet it would start changing how people park and leave. If you don't think boots change parking behavior try parking your rig at a random apartment complex in a university town and let me know how that goes for you. I bet you wouldn't do it more than once.

I was half joking anyways. I will be really surprised if I see anything change other than more and more people leaving trailers and reserving spots and more people complaining about it.

...I realize boots work very well for rational people....but we are dealing with Utards here....

If a trailer is unoccupied and hasn't moved in 16 days on Federal Land, it becomes abandon and can be claimed by others. If you see one like that, take the license plate off, throw it in the middle of the lake, and let others claim it. :)

I know one fellow on the FishLake National Forest who saw a very good trailer that sat there most of the summer. No license plate - so he pulled it off the mountain and went to the DMV and told them the story. He went thru the process at got a new title. He is now owner of a very good trailer for nothing.

Some guy tried the same thing on my trailer. Parked at Koosharem reservoir.Broke off my license plate and threw in the lake. Was this your friend ? It took a few months to find it. But they did in Monroe. Tried to say it was abandoned . When he got arrested and put in jail. When I went to the court hearing. I was asked if my belonging where in the trailer. I said yes and explained what was in the trailer. Plus he had to break into it to get in. Hes was convicted !

Well I had a new one all picked out when they found the old one. :-( But the wife let me get my new trailer anyways.:) We had a lady up there from the forest service always checking our trailers. So we got pretty good at moving over 2 miles every 16 days. I got tired of do this so I did what the locals do. I pulled it down the the reservoir. I guess it was safer on the mountain. I know have a place to park it on the mountain. Its about a quarter of a mile up the road from where we parked my trailer. It cost twice as much as my house. But I dont have to move it :) >>>>If a trailer is unoccupied and

So are you that dude that left his trailer up there all summer? If so you suck! take it home with you and let others use the spot. ITS NOT YOUR CAMP SITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LAST EDITED ON Aug-18-15 AT 04:29PM (MST)[p]No, I don't believe anybody can leave their trailer in the same spot all summer. I have been up on that mountain for about 27 years. They have the trailer police. A lady in a white ford ranger that tags your trailer. She takes her job pretty serious and loves to find trailers hidden away.
We have 25 acres on the mountain and a cabin. So I don't stay in my trailer much anymore. But it is in Koosharem if anyone wants to take it. :) It insured !

Just leave the door unlocked. I wont go to the trouble of bringing mine. I will clean up after my self and refill the water I use! Then I wont be mad when all the good spots are being used for trailer storage. In the books I have seen trailers there all summer. (bear hunters) with no tags. It happens.

What a bunch of whiney little bit ches! So when you finally draw that moose/elk/deer tag, you're not gonna leave a trailer parked for a week or two? Nah, me neither. I'd have to buy one first. What I would do, is find another place to camp.

Whiney little bit ches....

Personally, I think the issue has a little bit more to do with accessing and utilizing public land. You're awesome, though.

Nope I will take it home with me when I leave. So if someone else needs the spot its open. If everyone that drew a tag left there camp there, there wouldn't be anywhere left worth a chit. Maybe when you buy a trailer and have to look for hours to find a spot you'll get it. BUT I GUESS I CANT FIX STUPPID!

Sneak, your posts are autobiographical. Look in the mirror and read what you wrote, the next time you feel like adding your invaluable and enlightening insight to this or any discussion.

>Whiney little bit ches!

If common sense was common! You would have it. I get that.
Don't argue with an idiot.... He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience!

I left my trailer unattended for three days one year down on the Pauns. The cows cured me of that habit. When I got back late the night before the hunt, the camp spot smelled like a cow corral, inside the trailer smelled like a cow corral, my carpet I left out in front of the door was now all green and the cows had rubbed against the corners and door. Total destruction. Cost my insurance a couple thousand dollars to repair. We were moving the trailer after midnight the day of the hunt.
