AZ 12W Early Rifle

Thought I was outta opportunities but lucked out and got a tag for 12A W early rifle Kaibab in AZ. Usually hunt south of the Grand Canyon but trying it north this year. Only hunted this general area once many years ago when you could buy an OTC tag for archery. Plan on hunting with a couple friends from AZ. Be great to get out camping with them again. Heard moisture was good this year. Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Plan is to get up there a couple weeks early and do some hoofing around. Nothing quite like hunting AZ. Be patient. Good bucks are hard to find, but they are there.

There are some pictures and information in the "Arizona" section. If you go scroll down past the "Mule Deer" and "Elk" sections the individual states appear eventually down the list.

In regard for tips for the early season, this will be our first time so unable to really help with that. However, I was up there two weeks ago posted pictures of some bucks. And a guy just posted an update from this past weekend, too.
