AZ deer

In your opinion, is Arizona worth putting in for deer to start building points if you're 29 going in with zero points? I realize some get lucky and draw early, but for the most part? Hopefully I won't get smart ass answers here, but why wouldn't I want to just save my money and go to Eastern CO, private ground/vouchers in CO, and/or look at other options. Either way, Arizona or CO, I'd probably go guided as I live a bit far away to scout and really learn the area like I should.

Depends on what you want. If you want Kaibab you can draw an early tag.

There are big deer down south too.

Do you archery hunt? That opens a lot more opportunity and allows you to hunt great units in AZ during the rut.
