AZ desert tag

Got a great surprise this morning. Checked "the card" and after years of waiting there's a charge for sheep! Could be the wife,daughter,or myself but somebody in our house has a desert bighorn tag. Will be a long wait for results to come out and see who drew and which unit. Wife and I both have lots of points and daughter has 2 but with sheep you never know. Its gonna be great!

Sheep tag is mine. 46B west which was my 2nd choice. Tag number 4 of the 4 given. Talk about a lucky draw!

That place is one of the most difficult but rewarding places to hunt. Good luck to you both. I'll be just a little North of you guys in 40B this year.

Thats what ill be looking for. Thanks Cousforever. Az hunter just curious on how many points you had. i was sitting on 20. this is going to be my 2nd sheep hunt in 3 years i was lucky enough to draw a Dall tag in Chugach mnts of Alaska in 2012. So ill be working on my half slam. Heres a pic.

I had 15 points. Missed a few years back when money was tight and you couldn't buy a bonus point back then. Great looking dall. This is my first sheep tag. I've hunted aoudad in New Mexico on public land for 10 years but this is going to be completely different!
