B&C Sheep horn length?

I was wondering where the starting point for horn length is for B&C. The "C" meaurement is somewhat vague in the instructions. It is obvious from the photo of the "C" measurement that it isn't in the middle part of the horn width and not completly out on the outer circumference of the horn. The horn length measurement can make a huge difference in score since all the mass measurements distances are taken from length.
 
It depends on where the lowest point of front edge is. Do it like the picture...

JM, Thanks for the picture. It looks like length could start clear out towards the outer edge of the horn. It seems like a judgement call on where this lowest point is and how quickly to angle the tape over to the middle of the horn to get horn length?
 
Stay parallel with edge until tape is in the middle. Use a straight edge on tip and hold it perpendicular to axis of horn for termination point.
