Well I spent last Thursday thru Sunday up in 'G' 145 and 135 units.
Covered just over 5 miles a day bushwacking 'UP' and into the snowline.....
Did not see a single doe with a fawn by her side.....
Saw two velvet bucks......one decent for mid-June the other a young buck........the only two bucks I saw/glassed.
Talked to a couple guys that guide for different Outfitters and they both said the Outfitter was 50/50 on having their 'deposit paid' clients withdrawing from the draw.
Still lots of snow-----
Heads Up---The road to Cottonwood lake is closed for washed out bridge repair into late July------
Grey's River road will get plowed and road repaired starting this week....
Moose looked okay with a few bulls in moose 23/26
Elk seemed down from past years as no 30--50 cow/calves herds...more smaller 10-15 cows/calves herds....very few velvet bulls....
