Bacon Crack, or Pig Candy??

Wife and I were " discussing" this. Which crackers work the best. Experimented with Ritz, Triscuit, and Club. I still say that Club crackers make the best snack!!

Made them for drinks on the patio, before we go out to dinner. I apologize for not having fresh jalepenos. If you use pickled ones, take them out 10 minutes earlier.

We both agreed the Triscuits came in last. She likes the Ritz, 'cause you can put a whole one in your mouth at once. I liked the Club crackers taste better, and don't mind using a longer piece of bacon for two bites. Either way, we ate them all!!!

I am surprised the crackers didn't burn. Were they greasy (not that there's anything wrong with that! ) from the bacon rendering as you cooked?

They looked pretty damned good to me.

That's the nice thing. They don't burn and aren't too greasy either. My mistake was the peppers. Out of fresh jalepenos, so used pickled. Got over done, so they should go on last when done cooking. Fresh slices would have been better in the oven
