Bangs Canyon

I just drove the Bangs Canyon trail today, for the first time, near Grand Junction. I was expecting to see more signs of wildlife

Is that area worth hunting?

My curiosity is pretty much satisfied on that poor excuse of a road.

We were in CJs. I was going to take my Rhino, but it needs some stuff.

I know some guys from California that used to hunt it years and years ago and they would kill some big critters in there but they worked their ass off and walked many many miles a day to find them.

Did you take it all the way to Hwy 149?

We started at 141 and ended on Little Park Road.

It’s a fun mountain bike ride from Little Park to 141.
