Baseball Card Collectors

I am looking to sell some old baseball cards to help a friend with medical bills.

Where is the best place to sell them? I looked on ebay, and they were not selling for near the listed prices in the Beckett.
For example, a 58 Mantle is listed at $600-1000 in the Beckett, and they are not going for near that much. I was not expecting to get the high end price, but I did not think they would be that low.

The card market has fallen apart along with the rest of the economy. Only high end graded editions still fetch top dollar. You would be lucky to get about 50% of beckett as it stands.
