Bear From Yesterday

I was able to get out yesterday and take this boar. Here's a photo before the pack-out started and the snowstorm hit.

Do you mind saying the general area you were hunting on very broad terms. For example, panhandle,sawtooths,etc. I could not get the picture to open, but congrats that is awesome. Were you spot and stalk? Would love to hear the story if you have time. I am heading out in about 3 or 4 weeks, and I can not wait. Any advice?
 
Congrats. Great looking big boar. Now you really have me counting down the next 17 days. Thanks for posting.

This state is filthy with bears just dont be too picky and you should do fine.

From what I have been told this guy has been dealing with den mites and the infection they cause...it's a type of mange. In this case it only attacked his forehead and face...the rest of his body was untouched. To me, he looks a little like Uncle Fester from the old Adams Family show. LOL

haha... thats interesting. i was thinking it was just a cool color. beautiful bear either way.

UGA, not sure...it might be. If I could see the face in both photos, I'd know better.

did you get that bear here in idaho? pretty cool bear, congratulations!
