I would say if you are near the B zones go to any area that has oaks or scrub oak with acorns and start glassing. Berries are gone but bears love acorns...
Stay away from residences and garbage dumps by a few miles. Saw a few this year while deer hunting, only one nice sized one.
Other areas of the state I have no idea what they eat this time of year but hunt the food, they are trying to pack on the pounds right now.
