Beaver Antelope, utah

Hi everyone, first time antelope hunter here. I was lucky enough to draw the beaver rifle antelope tag. Has anyone had this tag and if so what is their experience/ sucess? Any info would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Best of luck on your hunt. I am assuming that this is the Limited Entry Buck Antelope hunt that you drew. I haven't hunted antelope in this unit, but by researching DWR's website, this should be a great hunt. Sounds like there is a lot of road access west of the I-15 with 100% success rate last year.

I would recommend finding a few high spots to glass as a start. Hopefully you find some great bucks to choose from. As my experience goes from hunting doe antelope, make sure to practice long range shots. Last antelope I killed was at 300 yards. I actually felt lucky to get that close. Those buggers have amazing eye sight.
