Best footwear for river moose hunt

What in your guys opinion is the best footwear on a river hunt for moose? Is it hip boots waist high waders or should I go with chest high.

Jay, hippers have their place, but on a float hunt I prefer breathable chest waders. I have considered waist high waders as well, but have always been of the mind that I would rather have too much wader than not enough. You can always roll down the chest waders. If you have to bust brush, you can throw your rain gear bottoms over the waders to protect them.

Are you going out this year, or planning for next?
