Best Kill

My best buck so far is this one. It taped out at 152 1/8 B&C and I shot it in 2005 at about 340 yards with a T/C Encore 50 cal. I used a range finder, bullet drop compensator, angle meter, and LOTS of pre-season practice to pull it off.

The buck on the left is my best ML deer. Granted, it's a whitey, but it scored 170's NT and was taken at the extreme range of oh, about 18 yards. No corn flingers, sedatives, or fences involved, FYI.

This deer was from 04 it was from Idaho. It scored 190 and change and netted 186. Shot from a sidelock renegade at 267 yards.public ground.

The elk was shot in 05 with the same gun. It came from Idaho also and was a very long shot as well. Shot him at 2;30 in the afternoon after he got up out of his bed. I shot him at 254yards. Hit him 2 times out if 3. Public ground. He grossed in the 330s

Wow thats amazing with no scope. You using a peep/crosshair? Gorgeous buck too.

No i use regular buck horn sights. I do shoot alot and i have a method of shooting that lets me shoot out to 250 yards and never covering up the target with the sights. I know where to hold on the sights by however far it is. I never cover the target up just hold below the target so you always have a clear view at intended impact. It works great but it takes alot of time on the range to do it.

I typically bow hunt but have killed a few animals with a muzzy! I don't know how to post pic's, so I will try. This is my only muzzy mule deer shot a few years ago.

Not a Monster but a fun hunt! I shot him with a .54 cal T/C Hawkin 90 grains of Pyrodex and a 275 gr Barnes MZ bullet. The shot was 95 yards.

I'll be looking for a new (or used) rifle to be legal to hunt in Idaho, now that they made my inline illegal.

This is my 2006 muzzleloader buck. I took him at 50 yards with a Knight wolverine, and I am also looking for a new Muzzleloader. IDFG seems to think I need a sidelock.
