Best Rangefinder for $250

Any suggestions? Looking for something that will legitimately range big game out to around 600 yards. Am I asking too much?

I got the Leupold RX-750 for $270 last year and it is great! The RX-600 is around $200-$220 and is a great option as well. The 750 ranges to 750 yards and the 600 to 600 yards.

will it range big game consistently that far? or just big trees and flat shiny surfaces?

I range up game at that distance. Out past 500 yards I have to rest it on something to hold it steady enough but it works great! I've been very pleased.

awesome, i think i'm going to give one of those a shot. for the range, features and manufacture name those are very competitive prices. i'm going to go check them out at cabelas. thanks a ton for your input!
