Best Tree Stand

What is your opinion of the best tree stand to purchase?
Climber? ladder stand? What do you have and what do you think of it? What are the pro's and con's of the two types? Seems to me a ladder stand would be more versital? A climber has to have a sutible tree.

Here in the east I spend alot of time hanging out in the trees.
If carring a ladder stand is OK they are the best. They are easy to get in and out of, QUIET and comfertable. A climber is the most portable but you need a perfect tree in the right location and they are noisy getting in and ouy of. Hang on stands are OK but you need to install either screw in steps or climbing sticks. If the tree is not shaped right it can be hard to get from the steps onto the stand. If you have easy access to where you are putting up your stand get one with a big platform. Dont be afraid to use some tape and pipe insullation
to cover all the metal surfaces you can touch.
