Best truck box?

Need it for a 1/2 chev.
Want it to hold up to a little abuse.
Needs to open and shut without having to go to both sides.
What have you guys used that works?

Weatherguard is the only one to consider, IMHO. I've had the Kobalts and Huskys from Lowes/Home Depot and they flat out suck. Hinges stop working after about a year. Bite the bullet and buy right the first time, they will last you 15-20 years minimum.

ProTech is also very high quality , but they are very expensive as well .

+ 1 for the Weather Gaurd... had a saddle box for 25 yrs. had to replace the lid struts and re paint it a few yers ago but still works and locks....

The problem I had with the Lowes model was that it didn't seal. If you were on dusty roads everything in the box stayed covered with dust. Whatever you get look at how the lid seals.

Definitely not buying at Lowe's.
Looks like weathergaurd is what most folks like the best.
