Best unit for Deer in Colorado

I have lived in Colorado for two years now. I hunted up near craig last year for 2nd season rifle and shot a decent buck. What does everybody think is the best deer unit in Colorado. I have heard that Unit 21 is a good one. Curious what everybody's opinion is?

Really there are too many to name. With luck and hard work you could probably find a decent buck in just about any unit. Of course the quality units that take years to draw you'll have a better shot at a good buck. Some of the biggest bucks I have ever seen alive or dead were in units that never have or never will get any pub. If I could have any tag it would be one of the southern Front Range units with access to private land. Good luck in your search !

Well it depends on the weapon. Unit 21 is an awesome unit and I have hunted it mulple times. I would reccomend 21 in the 3rd because basically what youre hoping for is for those big bucks to migrate down for you. Another good rifle late season in unit 44 but id shy away from it now due to the eagle area had quite a bit of winter kill this year. For archery and muzzleloader i don't think it gets much better than unit 43 if youre will to work for those big high country bucks.
