At no point did I dispute the reality of inflation. My point is that the Republican Party has not been better than the Democratic Party on deficit spending. In many ways, the Republicans have been worse.

The only time a Republican cares about the deficit or debt is when the Democrats are in charge. When Republicans are in charge, they spend as bad as anybody else... it might as well be Bernie in the White House as Trump.

Nikki Haley is the only candidate honest enough to call out Trump for running up trillions of dollars in debt during his presidency.

And before the Trump apologists blame it all on COVID, here's Obama v. Trump in just the first two years of their respective presidencies... before COVID affected Trump's numbers.

PS. Inflation had already started it's climb while Trump was still President. He literally printed trillions of dollars in free money and sent checks to millions of Americans while badgering the Fed to keep interest rates at record lows.

The "chicken was cooked," as economists say, inflation was coming regardless of who won the presidency. You can't spend like that with record low interest for years and not have an economic pendulum swing. Everybody with an understanding of economics saw it coming.

Certainly Biden's policies and "Inflation Reduction Act" didn't help, but we were going to face this fight regardless of what happened in the election.

The Federal Reserve is not part of the Brandon Administration. The Federal Reserve is suposed to be indepentent of the government. I never said Janet YELLING was the chairperson of the Federal Reserve. However Yellin used to be the chairperson of the Federal Reserve!

The biggest turkey on Thanksgiving was in the White House: President Biden’s campaign released a guide for “responding to crazy MAGA nonsense” for the holidays — which served up a hot platter of its own nonsense.

The trick here: Comparing prices to last year and inflation to two years ago — that is, on Biden’s watch.

As a refresher: The average cost for a gallon of gas was $2.19 in 2020. It’s a whopping $3.27 in 2023.

And assembling your Thanksgiving feast was 30% more expensive this week than in 2020, per the American Farm Bureau Federation.

It’s beyond pathetic that the Bidenites imagine they can gaslight the public this way — and terribly telling: They’ve got no better ideas than to try deceiving the public (plus all the endless “ultra-MAGA” name-calling and “threats to democracy” thundering).
