I know there our constantly posts on light backpacking tent, I have even started some posts on this topic. I am currently looking at the Big Agnes Seedhouse Sl 2 but more recently have looked towards the Big Agnes Copper Spur UL 2 tent. The copper is a tad heavier but with more vestibule and head room I think it might be worth the extra few oz. Ill be hunting high county in WY from Aug into november. Does anyone have any experience with either tent especially the Copper Ul 2?

I have the Sl2 and love it. It's not a 4 season tent though. I used it with about two feet of snow last year and it was a little tricky. I also have the footprint which you can use with the fly for real lite adventures. I only wish they would of made the fly 8 to 10 inches longer so it could keep snow out a little better. That's what happens when your counting lbs.

I own the SL1 and have used it on many timberline hunts. I wish the vestibule was a little bigger but that is my only complaint.
I think it is one of the best light weight tents out there.
