big bait=big fish

Great photos, big fish, though if the Westslope was 14" the Bull trout looks more like 30" or a little over to me. In the 15-16 pound range. Amazing how much you can see the Char family characteristics in a Bull trout that size.

i wish that would happen to me one day. on rock creek in montana last summer i had a big bull trout looking at a small trout i had hooked, but never got too aggresive about eating him.

Never caught a Bull before, but caught quite a few Dollies up to four pounds in Baker tributaries. They really like the salmon roe. Really light biters when they go after eggs.

I caught a char in AK fishing for salmon. He took my salmon-eggs spinner. He was only about 14 inches - the smallest I caught - but by far the most beautiful fish of the whole trip. Cool story.
