Made the switch from deer to elk and the hairy children still are a major disappointment on finding mates. The good news is I can really get my backswing with the longer mainbeams of elk to put a better whoopin' on 'em.

When I can't keep up and get to wheezin' too much I can really launch the horn out there a ways to land on their non-mate-findin'-asses. Topaz drug up the biggest all growling and full of himself but left a fresh 2 pt that was right beside it, he could have easily brought both so I put it to him with both to teach him never do that again.

For the picture the dogs were acting strangely skittish of the horns and only the cat would pose with them, I can't figure why.

I had to leave a dozen or so old ones on the hill as they would not carry their fair share either, and my load was getting a bit unwieldy, damn dogs don't know why I even take them anyway.
