It's pretty weird that most of these big bucks posted were killed in just the last few years but then there's several on here that wants us to believe we'll be lucky to find a 2 point in just a couple more years.

4 elk I’ve taken are 370-372 gross, all from public land – all about same size. 3 from MT, one from UT.

My best mule deer came from private land and it’s not pictured below, these are all public and roughly 190” gross +/- a couple inches, from MT and WY.

As for whitetail, my best was taken on the family farm and not pictured. This one is my best public land whitetail, MT, along with my first elk – 1994.

398 gross non-typical 7x8 bull, 358 gross typical 6x6 bull, 183 gross typical mule deer, 186 gross non-typical mule deer (16 scoreable inch’s in his eye guards and below). All taken in Washington State on public ground DIY with no guides or outfitters. 163 gross whitetail taken in Montana DIY and 80 gross antelope taken in Montana DIY. All scored by official scorer’s at the Tri-City Washington Sportsman Show.

Just to clear up a mistake, the antelope shot in Montana was 79 and 1/4 inch. Not 80 as stated.

The crazy part is when we first saw him my son and I were talking about passing on him. His body was so big it made his horns look small. Serious misjudgment on our part.
