Bighorns move to Oak Creek

This last week 50 sheep from Anteleope Island were moved
to the Oak Creek unit. It looks like the California bighorn units continue to do well.

The AI herd is an amazing resource.
Three new units have come from that one source.
Hopefully these new sheep will be happy and prosper on the Oak Creek

I know there has been talk of moving bighorns to Oak Creek
for a number of years--------------Glad to see it happen!

This is the 3rd year. Prior years include sheep from the Newfoundland unit as well. Cougar predation on Oak Creek has been a issue this last year.

Ya have to watch out for those cougars. Wyoming introduced a herd west of Kaycee, but unfortunately the cougars ate every last one of them.
