bill introduced to outlaw firearms

So, NM Representatives, Lujan and Grisham (who wants to be Governor), introduced HR 5087 which will outlaw a number of rifles that many of us hunt with........

This bill will also outlaw Pistols and Shotguns as well.

What's next...? Outlaw hunting rifles, pump action shotguns, and anything else capable of firing ammunition? Going to take away our air guns too? This is getting ridiculous!!! What happened to make America great again?

Too bad for them the New Mexico state constitution is clearer about citizens owning firearms than the US Constitution is.

Sec. 6. [Right to bear arms.] No law shall abridge the right of the citizen to keep and bear arms for security and defense, for lawful hunting and recreational use and for other lawful purposes, but nothing herein shall be held to permit the carrying of concealed weapons. No municipality or county shall regulate, in anyway, an incident of the right to keep and bear arms. (As amended November2, 1971 and November 2, 1986.)

Yes, thankfully sec.6 exists or I could see some towns trying the Deerpark Il debacle.
With that said, this was done at the Federal level.
And secondly, laws can be changed and these two people show that it is their intent to see a change in the law happen.

Why everyone needs to vote. It is sad that the two Senators here get re elected. Grisham is a pig but will most likely be the next Governor here. She is very clear she wants to ban firearms.

Molon labe~ thats the dumbest chytt Ive heard in a long time , but whats comical is the list they want to ban, well theres a bunch of democrats who own some on there too....NM elected officials should concentrate on education and border patrol , economy , and leave the LEGAL LAW ABIDING people and their legally owned firearms alone!!!
