Binocular repair?

If any of you out there need binocular repair I just had a pair of Pentax dcf repaired by Mountain Optics and just wanted to give them kudos for doing what was needed in a timely and proffessional manner. The communication was great and the cost was very reasonable. Highly recommended.

Why didn't Pentax repair/replace them?

These were given to me and im not sure about the warranty coverage, to be honest I didnt even consider contacting them...probably should have.
