here is a picture i took a while ago, just seeing if it will work

Is that a nighthawk? You almost hardly ever see those birds when they are not flying.

No, it isn't a nighthawk. I think it is some type of wren, they have either red or whitish bellies and a forked tail. There were a lot of them flying over a pond that me and my buddies were hunting doves on and this one landed and let me get close enough for this picture.

Yepper it's a barn swallow. They're the ones that make the round mud nests you see under bridges and overhangs.
 
Actually for the most part the cliff swallow is the one that makes the mud nest under bridges and overhangs. While barn swallows too make mude nets, they are not typically colonial nesters like the cliff swallow.

I had those little b****ards building mud nests in my Breezeway this summer. I solved the problem by putting up a set of those hanging beads in the doorway.....the kind like you had in the 70's. PEACE!! It was either that or bring out the tennis racket. They are pretty little guys.

Anyway. How about a little dust and scratch removal.
