Blacktail Habitat Improvement?

Here's the question. What do you personally do to help the habitat? Here is one thing you can do quite easily. When scouting or hunting, carry a pocket full of high protein seed with you and toss it out in your favorite hunting area. You would be surprised how much this would help our herds if say 10,000 hunters would do this each year.
I take a pocket full of clover seed every time I go out and just toss it. If you hunt in a burned out area, it will help a great deal.

We plant stuff all the time. However the elk and pigs wipe it out. So now we work on the brush and oaks. We plant and prune and cut,for new young growth.

Good job! We don't have Elk here but the pig popualtion is growing. I have a problem now with the Turkeys. They are starting to eat everything I put in the ground. hahahaha Guess I'll pop one this fall. YUM!
