Muleyman, I shot this buck in the Tioga unit. Usually known for Rosi elk, it is making a small comeback on blacktail.
I had been watching this buck for a couple months, so I knew he was in the area. The morning I shot him, it was raining and foggy. A good 30 mins into the hunt, I jumped him unexpectedly. The rain and fog helped, as he didn't know what I was for sure. Two poorly placed arrows, and a couple hundred yards later the buck was mine!
