Bobcat

I was fortunate enough to trap a mature Bobcat this morning. It is in great shape and very healthy I am considering having it mounted. Any suggestions on a Taxidermist would be much appreciated.

Where do you live? If close enough to Richfield, UT I would reccomend Jay Ogden at Ogdens taxidermy. I am having him mount my mountain lion and he had a bob in the shop when I dropped it off. I am very picky about my mounts, and I will say that the bob looked awesome.

Located in North Carolina right now but will be moved back to central Utah in less than a year. So I'd like to get it to a Taxi closer to home if at all possible.

Might be best to double bag that cat and put it in the deepfreeze. If that's not an option, take it to a local guy and have them send it off to be tanned. Then when you get to new town, have it mounted. Shipping mounts cross country is getting to be crazy expensive, not to mention none of the carriers will honor insurance purchased on a mount. At least to my knowledge.

The voices in my head may not be real, but they have
some good ideas!
