Book Cliffs Access ??

So I've spent time the books hunting deer and now have a tag to chase elk with my muzzy. I have always accessed the area through Seep Ridge Road but I understand there is another route out of Vernal and through Bonanza. I was planning to take this road next week but there was a recent article that this road has been closed due to erosion and will be closed for up to 1 year.

Do any of you know the details of this closure and if there is a detour route that would be good?

I work out that way but don't get out to where the road is closed, I do know there is a signs saying use the detour but I'm not sure how its routed. But there is a detour.

There is a well marked detour route available. It adds a few minutes but not a big deal.

Did you know the Main/Seep Ridge Road is paved nearly to the Divide?

I used to do 65 MPH on that Dirt Track!

Can't Imagine How Quick I can make it now!
