My friend asked me to put a post on MonsterMuleys. He drew an expo tag here in Utah on the Book Cliffs North unit. He is a resident, but he is not familiar with the area. Any help would be appreciated on where he might see a decent buck.

What is the story behind "divide road"?

It has been a few years but on our hunts we hunted about 15 miles north of the divide road. That is where the deer were at that time.
Indian canyon was the name I think. It was very fun hunt with lots of average bucks to look at.
We came in from the north end.

By the time the rifle hunt starts, the deer will have moved off the divide road. Depending on the weather will dictate how far to the north they have gone.
