Booking agents

What do you guys think of using a booking agent for outfitted hunts ?

What are the pros and cons ?

I can see that he can only refer to outfitters that are wiiling to pay him a commission so some very good outfitters may not need an agent to get fully booked, while some lesser outfitters may need him. On the other side an agent sending clients to lesser outfitters may not stay in business for very long...

Which agent do you recommend ?

There are some good ones and bad ones. I don't think I'd use one. I think most are in the business to get free hunts. Most agents are comped hunts especially to places like africa. It's hard to sell a hunt without personal experience on it.
