there are a lot of different ways I use the canned meat. One way is to use it for a simple but really quick soup. just put a can of meat, a can of stewed tomatoes (i also used home canned tomatoes) then just a mix of whatever other vegetables you have, (frozen usually) sometimes corn, green beans, maybe some onion, basically any type of vegetable that you like. I'll usually add some water and then let it come to a boil, then thats about it. also, add some pepper and maybe a dash of salt.
another thing i like to do is make sort of a beef stroganoff type dish. its ridiculously simple. one jar of canned meat, one can of cream of mushroom soup, cook until hot. sometimes i'll add some onion to this, if you do you'll need to cook it a bit longer to soften up the onions. i'll serve this over some of those wide egg noodles.
when you can meat there will be some liquid in the jar. i usually put the liquid right in to the dish. it adds a ton of flavor. for a milder taste you can leave it out.
aother way i cook with it is to melt some butter in a pan, then just fry the pieces of meat up in the butter. its already cooked when you can it so its not to cook the meat. it just adds a different flavor to it, and is just another way to eat it. sometimes i'll fry up some potatoes and onions to go with it.
these are just a couple ways i cook with it. when i think of some more ways i've used it ill post some more.
