breaking down unit 16 for deer

My son has drawn a youth deer tag in 16 for over the thanksgiving week.Always hear how good the unit is for elk.Trying to break it down for deer as there is no way to scout all of the unit.How would you rate it by using the elk areas.Would you say 16a,b,c,d maybe the area to start looking in for deer.Already had some of the good folks on here offer help but the more info the better.Thanks Billc

You can scout the unit it isn't closed.

Plan on scouting when out after my pronghorn and elk hunt.Would just like to get a place to start since all of the 16's are in the youth deer.Thinking of starting 16a and staying near there.Would the rut maybe just getting ready to start in nov 22 to 26.
