Brett Thoft - Full Curl Aviation

Sad news. There are probably people here on MM that knew Brett Thoft of Full Curl Aviation in Wasilla. Brett died in a plane crash in Montana on Tuesday afternoon. He was a truly great guy, and a great Air Taxi operator in the Brooks Range. Brett was 33 years old and had a wife and two small children. Here's a link to the news story:

Brett's brother, Matt, owns Silvertip Aviation, also out of Wasilla.

That is very sad. I spoke with him at least once every year at Happy Valley while caribou hunting on the haul road and he was very friendly. Seemed like a good guy and I'll miss our chats

I never got to hunt with Brett but I have heard nothing but great things about him. Gob bless Brett and his family.

I hunted with Brett back in August. I am extremely sad to hear this. My prayers go out to his family. His little girls are adorable and his wife is sweet and hospitable.
