Yesterday I got my first elk with a bow. It was great so much better than with a rifle. I do have a question about the broadhead\arrow performance. My bull was 34 yards quarting away. The arrow went between the ribs through lungs and heart and stopped at the ribs on the other side. The total weight of my arrow and broadhead is 420 grain, arrow speed is 260. I would have guessed that the arrow would have at least passed part way through. Did my arrow perform properly or is there something in my setup that needs adjusting?
Thanks
