Where are you seeing blacktail bucks in the rut?? The rut here in Oregon does not start for some time?

Todd, have you not heard the old saying, "The Rut starts later, the farther North you go"? Something like that anyway...

The Country i grew up in is a couple hours south of HH's but the better Bucks there were coming in out of where ever they were, sniffing, and hanging with the does as early as mid Sept.
