I've watched this clip a binch of times now. It's interesting because it presents a real life, although extremely tough, shot on a very fine bull. The bull is moving, it is angling very sharply away, I don't know the distance but am guessing 30+. Do you take a crack -- if you are off by a couple of inches in any direction you end up with a very badly hit bull, a very, very long couple of days ahead of you, and the chances of recovery probably pretty low. You don't have but about 5 seconds to make up your mind and take the shot. I can't say what I would have done as I sit here, but it is interesting to think about.
The hunter in this case placed the arrow perfectly. The arrow clearly penetrated well on a perfect angle, no doubt that bull was not going too far. Congrats on a great shot on a nice bull. Thanks also for the footage -- rarely do you get to see the a good, true-to-life hunting situation on video.
