Burley, Idaho ?

I'am planing to be moving there soon.
My company DOT foods is building a new facility there, and I will be one of the first employee's if it works out
Never been to the state, I know they have great bird hunting.
What is the big game populaction like around there.
How far to good deer/elk country ?
Would appreciate any advice on towns or area's to live in also.

mostly controlled hunting with a few late season hunts for bow, general deer and elk a few but better units controlled hunts.

I live in Pocatello (80 miles). I grew up 30 miles from Burley and hunt near there a lot.
