I have the 50 on a 270. It is a very good scope, but unfortunately, I hate packing around that large of a scope, so it doesn't see much use. When I have used it or lent the gun out it has been very dependable, and the optics are very bright and clear, I would certainly think it is comparable to some of the leopolds that I have.
