Anyone got the newest version of the Big Horn outfitter tent? I am about 95% sure I am going that route for my outfitter type tent. Since we don't get the snows here in New Mexico I don't see the need for a heavy canvas tent. I also hunt solo so I will be putting it up and tearing it down solo. The design looks like it is the easiest for one guy to do.
I asked Cabelas what they changed for the III vs II and this was their response:
The Big Horn III has 3 main differences:
1. The stove placement moves it further from the wall to help reduce heat build-up on the fabric.
2. The stove Jack placement has been moved to keep the stove pipe more vertical.
3. The roof panel protector buckles allow for a roof panel protector to be used to help reduce sparks from burning holes through your tent.
