Cabelas Microtex Insulated Jacket

My wife got me this jacket for my birthday. It's got 100 grams of Thinsulate insulation, and seems really well made. Love the outfitter camo pattern. Seems like a good weight rather than the bulkier parkas I've tried in the past where I overheat and end up carrying them all day. I have high hopes that this one is the ticket for most of my fall pursuits. Anybody else have any experience with the Microtex jackets?

I absolutely love mine....i would never leave home without it...it keeps you warm and comfortable all day and there is no need to take it off while hiking, would recomend it to anyone over anything else i have tried.

I don't know why more haven't found microtex. I own pants, shirt, and jacket and haven't found a condition that it doesn't perform in. Burrs wipe right off it, it's warm when it's cold, and it breathes when it's hot. Strange combo but it just works. The outfitter camo has done very well for me from Wyoming to Wisconsin. Hope you like it!
