Chicken Scallopini, Rice w/ Gravy, Fresh Garden Tomatoes

Needed some comfort food tonight, that we could eat with lots of wine. Best friend (my age) let us know he has prostate cancer, and at 91 years of age, the MIL has breast cancer requiring surgery. What kind of rotten trick is that?

Thin sliced chicken scallopini, white rice with lots of gravy, and salad with fresh garden tomatoes. It was good, but the taste buds may have been numbed by then. Wife changed her mind in the middle, and we went from the pictured pasta to rice (woman thing!!).
