Anyone familiar with the Cimarron WMA in Unit 65? Any information or suggestion would be appreciated. Recommendations to set up camp close by as there is no camping on WMA. Prefer non commercial camp area.
 
Drove around it once a few years ago while poking around unit 65. From what I remember, Cimarron was pretty low country, mostly sage, a few trees and a few small drainages. I think a small part of it gains in elevation and has some timber. Definately a later season migration area for deer & elk, it might hold some deer early.
